Geoff is one of the few brokers born and raised in the Hamptons. In fact, he is the 5th generation to live in Southampton, and this long familial attachment to the area is evident in every aspect of Geoff's work.
After graduating from St. Lawrence University and working on Wall Street, as well as living in Aspen, Colorado briefly, Geoff chose to come home to the place he loves most, and to begin a career tailor-made for his friendly, outgoing disposition. He has been working full time in real estate for over 30 years. One of the most satisfying elements of his business is helping clients live out their dream - to find the home they have always wanted. He especially loves following the lives of families who call on him again and again as their family numbers and needs grow. For those new to the area, there are few such enthusiastic guides with 'insider' knowledge. For example, it is not uncommon for Geoff to know the detailed history of the various properties he shows.
Being a complete broker is important to Geoff, and for that reason he sells a variety of properties including oceanfront, bay front, farmland, new construction, wooded, village and vacant land. In addition, Geoff handles various types of rental properties, as he feels this is an important feature of being a full service broker. It also allows him to know the value of investment properties, and ultimately to represent a client's best interest.
Geoff's unique background - his commitment to the area and his passion for the work he does, makes it no surprise he is consistently one of the Hamptons top producing brokers and has been listed among the Top 250 real estate professionals in the US by the Wall Street Journal, Real Trends and Lore magazines annual list.
