A native to East Quogue, Zach’s grandfather started the first scuba diving shop on the East End, which was later run by his father who expanded the business to a health club. Zach spent his youth growing up working there and returned to help his father run the business after college. With an entrepreneurial drive, Zach started a real estate career to enjoy the opportunity of being involved in a dynamic industry that has a major impact on the lives of others. Working in real estate for over 15 years and starting off as an appraiser, Zach spent the beginning of his career gaining a much deeper understanding of a variety of aspects of real estate with a focus on the valuation before moving on to the sales side. Having earned Top 1% of Brokers, Zach maintains his appraisal license to remain current on all aspects of property valuation to gain insights from both an appraisal and sales perspective. This knowledge proves to be invaluable to his clients. From a sales perspective, listing a property at the right price from the start is key to ensuring a successful sale and making sure there are no appraisal issues or surprises that surface before closing. For buyers, Zach’s appraisal background is instrumental in presenting to and persuading sellers and sellers’ agents that their offer is the strongest one to take while also ensuring there will be no appraisal issues during the process. Understanding what a property is worth is key for buyers when formulating negotiation offers. Zach is the proud father of two children. Together with his family, he enjoys spearfishing, swimming, weight training, travel, snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking and fine dining.
