Michael Schultz’ success in real estate began in 2007 during his very first year in the industry when he was named the HANFRA (Hamptons and North Fork Realtors Association) ‘Rookie of the Year’ for sales of $29M - topping all other new agents on the East End. For the last 5 years, Michael has been ranked by Wall Street Journal as one of the top 10 real estate agents in the Hamptons and has been the recipient of over 12 industry awards and accolades from the local (#2 Corcoran Agent in the Hamptons 2012) to the national (Wall Street Journal’s ‘Top Real Estate Professionals in the Country’ for 5 years in a row). Michael has also been recognized by his peers and was accepted into Corcoran’s prestigious President’s Council from 2009 through 2015.

His rapid rise is attributed to a wealth of business, sales/marketing, and negotiating experience, plus an extensive list of personal and professional relationships that span decades. He was a successful retailer and wholesale manufacturer for 30 years - responsible for merchandising, operations, strategy, and business development for some of the nation’s best-known apparel, accessories and house-ware brands. This driven, creative and strategic mindset has made him an outstanding agent, quickly surpassing some of the most experienced agents in his field.

A native New Yorker, Michael graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Among his more notable accomplishments was joining Urban Outfitters, Inc. where he was a division president and helped to grow the company alongside the founder for 15 years. While there, Michael helped create the initial strategies and business plans for Urban Outfitters, Free People, and Anthropology. He subsequently served as the Global CEO of Lulu Guinness Ltd. and Cath Kidston Ltd. brands prior to turning his talents to real estate, which was always his passion. In addition to a longtime residency in Manhattan, this Wainscott resident has enjoyed Hamptons living for over 25 years. Michael has also owned properties in Florida and Colorado, adding to his national network of potential clients.
